Coming Next Week!

It's almost here! Watch for A Final Kiss to be released next week. Add it to your Goodreads list here!

Blurb:

Kate Morris is so close to finally having what she wants in life; a supportive group of female friends, a potential new career she’d almost given up on, and a romance on the horizon. No matter how right things go for her, trouble bites at her heart at every turn. Someone is out there always watching her. She can feel it all the way down to her bones.

And he is waiting for his perfect moment to step into her life permanently. He almost had the perfect woman once before, but one thing stepped in his way then. He needs a new woman and Kate fits the bill perfectly. Nothing will come between him and Kate. Once Wade reveals his love to Kate, she’ll love him too. After all, they were meant to be together at all costs… even if it means taking away anyone else who might interfere.

Tony walked out of Kate’s life so many years ago, leaving a wrecked girl in his wake. One trip to the Phoenix airport shoves the all-woman version of Kate back into his life. He wants to get to know her again, but she isn’t playing easy with him this time. If given one more chance to make up for lost time, he would never leave again. Gone on his deployment, he decides to email her anyway. Through the emails she starts slowly warming up… enough to express her concern about a stalker. With the police officer’s lack of help, Tony heads to Phoenix instead of home upon his return to the states. Kate doesn’t trust herself around Tony, so he takes matters into his own hands. Will he be able to watch over Kate without her finding out and resist falling in love with her all over again? Will Tony be able to catch the stalker before Kate is harmed?

My Sexy Saturday- Jesse's Girl

Enjoy this sexy unedited scene from Jesse's Girl. Want to see where Jesse's journey began? Grab Jesse's Brother here!

“Jesse. I want you.”
“Do you, Zoey?” He grabbed her hand and brought it behind her back where she stayed nestled against his toned body. Desire shot through her as soon as her hand made contact with his skin. Her eyes closed again as he scooted back enough for her to slide her hand down his abdomen until she reached the erection straining the zipper of his slacks.
“Zoey,” he said between deep breaths.
She started stroking him through the thin material. “Mm hm?”
     “I changed my mind.”
She yanked her hand away from him and pulled from his embrace, whirling around on the mat so she could face him. He couldn’t change his mind. Not after she’d come this far and yearned for every kiss of his, every touch. “What?” she asked.

“I changed my mind,” he repeated as he slid a finger down her cheek, “when I gave you permission to regret this later. I never want you to regret a second with me.”

I'm Hooked!

I just started watching this season of The Bachelor and I'm hooked. I'm only on episode 3 so don't give me any spoilers!

Here are my thoughts so far:

  • I'm surprised that Victoria actually left the show. I figured they'd keep her around just to add drama to the show and to keep people watching. I'm glad she left though!
  • Kate and the opera singer are on the show for their own personal gain and I don't mean being with Juan.
  • My favorite girls are Andi and Renee. I'm totally rooting for them at this point.
  • Juan Pablo is decent to look at ;)
And that is all for now. I will update as soon as I watch some more episodes. So what do you think about Juan Pablo? Who are your favorite women? Tell me... just don't share spoilers!!

Write At the Merge- A Final Kiss

I used this writing prompt to write a new scene to A Final Kiss. Enjoy :)

Something knocking against her bedroom window brought Kate sitting straight up in bed. Tony snoozed next to her, not flinching at the sound or her sudden movement. She quickly glanced at her alarm clock. Just a little after 12:30 a.m. It had to him. Her stalker. She gave Tony a gentle shake to wake him.
He stifled a yawn and peeked up at her through exhausted eyes. “What is it, honey?”
She leaned closer to him. “Something hit the window. It woke me up.”
“It figures he’d come tonight,” Tony grumbled, climbing from the bed and slipping into his jeans. With the button done, he motioned toward the window. “Hurry. Get dressed and look outside. Let him see that you’re here alone.”
She jumped up from the bed and hurried to her dresser for some pajamas. Pulling out her old college t-shirt and a pair of flannels, she slipped into the comfy clothing. She hurried to the window, moved the curtain aside, and pressed her face to the glass. Her heart pounded as she waited eagerly for someone to jump out at her. Instead of anything moving, the moon shown bright on her small patch of a yard with a cement wall border.  She was in here, in the dark bedroom, with the aftertaste of passion still lingering on her lips, the smell of sexual desire filling her senses. The love of her life stood half naked behind her, but fear wouldn’t let her enjoy him for another second.
She faced Tony. “I know he is out there. He’s waiting for… something.”

Spring is Here!

Please don't hate me if you are in one of those areas that has gotten your share of snow. I don't envy you a bit. I'm one of those types of people who enjoys snow for about 5 minutes... long enough to make a snowman or a snow angel and then I'm back inside. I don't like rain either. I love sunny, warm days and that is exactly what we have here in Phoenix, Arizona. Today is cooling down to about 80. Yes, I said cooling. It has been almost 90 this past week.

And with all of those really warm days comes allergens. I'm sad to say that I love living in Arizona, but I'm allergic to the plants. Freshly cut grass, flowers, and trees really bother me this time of year. It sucks really bad! Getting anything is hard when I hurt and/or have a fuzzy brain due to the allergy medication.

My Sexy Saturday- Jesse's Girl Sneak Peek!

Have you read Jesse's Brother yet? Here is an unedited sneak peek of Jesse's Girl!

“Downward Dog,” she called out to the five other people in the room. “Let me demonstrate and then I’ll walk around to help you develop the correct form.”
Jesse didn’t need to know the correct anything while in this class but pretended to be an attentive student as Zoey bent over with her hands and feet planted on the mat, her legs spread apart to have her ass up in the air. Sure, it was suppose to be some sort of exercise move, but Zoey’s smokin’ body made Jesse switch his thoughts from fitness to pornographic fantasies where Zoey starred. He let his gaze travel over her firm ass and settled on her center. As he shifted his position on his yoga mat to relieve the tension growing in his lap, he wondered how the hell he was going to do downward dog with a hard-on.
He got into position. “Zoey, is this right?” he called out so she would move out of the pose, but he hadn’t expected her to come over to him.
“Almost but not quite, Jesse.” When she slid her hand up the back of his hamstring, his breath caught in his chest, almost causing him to choke when it finally rushed between his lips.
“Relax,” she said softly. “And don’t lock your knees.”
He would’ve been able to relax if she didn’t continue to slide her smooth hand up to the back of his thigh. “I’m trying.”
“Tighten this leg more but don’t tense up. Does that make sense?”

So do you enjoy Valentine's Day or do you think that it is just a another "fake" holiday to get our money? I love Valentine's Day. I love all of the heart and love stuff in red and pink. And I love having the day as an excuse to be extra mushy with my honey. This year he is working away from home so we'll be celebrating late and I'm excited to see what he pulls off.

Dangerous Flames blurb:

Back from spending her teen years in Italy, Gabrielle Medini wants answer to the hard questions. She quickly learns that the Mafia still has a hand in controlling society and her father is the Don of the largest mob organization in the area. When a hit order is taken out on her father and one of his members will be doing the killing, Gabi’s mother demands Gabi’s disappearance. For good. This time she refuses to go alone.

The Mafia doesn’t seem so glamorous any more. Not sure what Mik’s role in her father’s crime family is but sure he is involved, Gabrielle has reason to believe that her secret love's safety is in jeopardy too.

Mikolas Russo is one hit away from becoming part of the Medini crime family. But is this what he really wants? Killing people for money is what he has been trained to do even though he’d give anything to trade the nightmares for sweet dreams of the forbidden Gabrielle. Thinking he has the chance to reveal his feelings to her, he arrives at her house to find her brandishing a loaded gun, ready to take control.

Will the truth fulfill her desires, or will Mikolas be the one to shatter everything?

My Sexy Saturday- Lost and Found

Enjoy this sneak peek of the next book in the Desert Secrets Series!

Lisa knocked softly on the door. A grumbled, “Come in,” greeted her. She wiped her sweaty palm on her slacks. She was going to be in a room with a man alone. She hadn’t been with any man since Lance divorced her and before then had been rare. She’d barely had time with her husband. Would she even remember how to be alone with one?
She really didn’t have a choice now so she pushed the door open. Her gaze swept the room. Seth’s satchel he always seemed to have was open on the round table.  A discarded gum pack and its wrappers were on the nightstand next to the lamp.
The bathroom door opened far enough for Seth to stick his head through. His hair was wet from his shower. “Can you do me a favor?”
“Sure.” Heat rushed to her cheeks. She shouldn’t be in here with him while he was naked. She nervously sat down in the chair by the table.
Pointing at some folded pants on the bed, he said, “Hand me those pants right there?”
No! She didn’t want to go any closer than this. She grabbed the pants from the bed and walked toward him. The closer she got, the more detail she noticed about him. The water dripped from his wet brown hair and made trails down his toned chest. Small freckles dotted both his cheeks and pecks. When had she been this attracted to a man? Not knowing the answer, she slightly shook her head. This guy smacked his gum and had intruded in her business more than once. She shouldn’t be attracted to him, be in his hotel room, or staring at his visible nakedness.
“Here,” she said softly, holding the pants out for him to take.
     He chuckled. “Thanks.”
